Rafael González Paz · Piano

Born in Montevideo and based in Ibiza, Rafael González Paz has performed in prestigious venues across Europe and Latin America, including Teatro Solís in Montevideo, Teatro del Lago in Frutillar, Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile and the Palau de les Arts in Budapest. He has appeared in several seasons of the Chamber Cycle of Uruguay’s National Radio (SODRE), performing recitals both in Montevideo and throughout the country. In Mallorca, he regularly takes part in festivals and concert series such as Cicle de Cambra del Migjorn and Concerts A Ca’n Bonico.

Beyond his work as a soloist, Rafael has collaborated with chamber ensembles in South America and Europe. Since 2022 he has maintained an ongoing artistic collaboration with the Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra.

With advanced training in Germany and Hungary, his interpretation balances intellectual depth and expressive sensitivity. His playing shapes musical architecture with clarity and attention to silence as an essential part of sound.

He has been based in the Balearic Islands since 2018, combining his concert career with teaching.
