Rels i Records emerges from the encounter between memory and creation. Duo de la Fuente · Prats takes us on a journey through different eras, languages and musical sensibilities, bringing together vocal and piano repertoire with new ways of listening to, interpreting and transforming tradition.
An album that recovers voices and soundscapes from the Mediterranean heritage and places them in dialogue with the contemporary perspective of its performers.

Laura de la Fuente
Mezzo-soprano
Trained between Mallorca and Italy, Laura de la Fuente develops her artistic career in the fields of opera, chamber music and contemporary creation.
Her work includes a particular dedication to the Italian repertoire, Catalan song and the recovery of musical heritage.
Llorenç Prats
Piano, composition and electronics
Born in Ibiza and internationally trained, Llorenç Prats is a pianist, composer and sound artist. His work explores contemporary musical languages and the relationship between music and Mediterranean identity.
In Rels i Records, he performs the piano part and is the composer of Camí Florit, a work created specifically for voice and electronics based on texts by Josep Maria Llompart. He is also responsible for the conception and realisation of the electronic component..
Duo de la Fuente · Prats
Laura de la Fuente and Llorenç Prats have been working together as a duo since 2021. Their joint work focuses on Italian repertoire, Catalan song, the recovery of musical heritage and contemporary creation.

A journey between memory and creation
The album’s central thread is Camí Florit, an original work by Llorenç Prats for voice and electronics, composed specifically for Rels i Records and based on texts by Josep Maria Llompart.
Divided into four sections, the work appears throughout the album as a connecting thread between the different pieces, guiding the listener along this musical journey. Each composition becomes a flower along the path: a trace of the past that takes on a new form when revisited.
Bringing together rediscovered works and contemporary creations, Rels i Records invites us to experience music as a living landscape, where roots continue to grow.
Flors d’Escardot · Carme Karr
Rels i Records includes what is considered the first known commercial recording of Flors d’Escardot by Carme Karr, helping to recover and bring visibility to a lesser-known part of Catalan musical heritage.
Repertoire
The album features works by Giuseppe Martucci, Carme Karr, Luciano Berio, Federico Mompou and Llorenç Prats, with repertoire in Italian, Catalan and Spanish.
A selection that travels across different eras and musical languages, combining the rediscovery of little-known works with contemporary creation.
