About the performers
Ànima en Tres brings together Úrsula Pomar (flute), Virginia Montes (piano) and Ángel Ramos (percussion) in a programme that moves between flamenco, classical music and Latin influences.
The three musicians come from different backgrounds but share an interest in music that crosses boundaries, in meeting points between genres and in the search for a personal musical language.
The result is an unusual ensemble built around the dialogue between flute, piano and percussion, combining written music, improvisation and rhythm.

Sobre el programa
El repertori d'Ànima en Tres recorre territoris diversos que van del romanticisme europeu al flamenc contemporani i al jazz afrocubà.
Obres de Franz Borne, Manuel de Falla, Paco de Lucía o Chucho Valdés conviuen en un programa construït des de la reinterpretació i el diàleg entre tradicions, on la flauta, el piano i la percussió proposen noves lectures de peces molt conegudes i d'altres menys habituals.
